IRS Delays & McDonald’s Collabs With Crocs

IRS Postpones New Tax Reporting Threshold for Online Sellers

The IRS has decided to delay the implementation of a lower reporting threshold for online sales and gig work until 2024, providing lawmakers with additional time to establish a more permanent solution. In a move to ease the transition, the agency has set a $5,000 threshold for transactions in 2024 and postponed the new $600 threshold until 2025. Originally slated for 2022, the $600 threshold was delayed by a year at the end of 2022. The IRS cites feedback from taxpayers and tax professionals as the basis for its decision, aiming to minimize confusion and carefully plan a way forward.

Priced between $70 and $75, the shoes are available at Crocs retail locations and partners, with matching socks retailing for $20. This collaboration follows McDonald's recent partnership with PALACE in August and adds to Crocs' successful series of collectible collaborations, including a Shrek-inspired clog.
