Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for all the thrifters and resellers out there!
Over the last few years I’ve gravitated towards buying and reselling cookie jars when I find them at yard sales and thrift stores. Many have been bought for only about $5, but resell for $50 or higher. Now I’m on the lookout for these vintage cookie jars that can garner hundreds, even thousands of dollars! I was blown away by the story in Taste of Home…you will be too! Below is a picture of 3 of my current cookie jars. Which one is your favorite?

A BOLO Coat of Many Colors!
Robin Gardiner, a 32-year-old from Ontario, Canada thrilled TikTok viewers when she found a vintage Hudson’s Bay wool coat for just $35 at a thrift store. While shopping for her husband’s Christmas party jacket, she stumbled upon the iconic stripes, verified its authenticity with Google Lens, and discovered it was a 1960s coat. Gardiner, who comes from a family of outdoors enthusiasts, considers the coat a cherished find she plans to pass down to her daughter. Her story highlights the thrill of thrifting, the value of supporting local thrift stores, and the joy of uncovering unexpected treasures. Wait till you see how much this coat is worth in this Newsweek article.
